Kut Klose was a R&B trio that formed in Atlanta, Georgia. The three female singers that made up the group were Athena Cage, Lavonn Battle and Tabitha Duncan. The girls were discovered by Keith Sweat who heavily produced their debut album. He also sang a duet with the group on "Get Up On It."
In 1995, the girls released their first and only album, Surrender. Despite releasing three singles, "Surrender," "Lovely Thang," and "I Like" the only one to make a significant impact was "I Like." "I Like" managed to reach #8 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks Chart.
