[edit] Gdańsk University of Technology
Sure. I did it per WP:NOT#Wikipedia_is_not_an_indiscriminate_collection_of_information. Generally long lists of stuff inside of article are poorly tolerated, especially when there are no articles for the items. For example, if two or three rectors had been notable people in polish history, we would be able to link their articles and add a short section for notable people associated with the university. But not a list of all the rectors. Why not all professors of physics or all majors offered? I worked though a lot of the uni articles when I was stub-sorting them, and I removed all such lists to standardize the set. Gdansk was not the only one. Thanks. - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 23:36, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Crypto
I see your point, but on the other hand, there isn't really anything to say about cryptology that is different from what we would want to say about cryptography. What you need to know to get acquainted with cryptology is the same as what you need to know to get acquainted with cryptography. If our main goal was to provide correct and clear definitions, we could maybe do better. But Wikipedia is not a dictionary - the main goal should be to present the overview as simply and clearly as possible. That said, although this is a featured article, I don't think the lead is that great, it is merely sufficient. So if you have any specific suggestions I'd love to see them.
