Kushinagar Express

Kushinagar Express is an express train running between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) and Gorakhpur. Train is numbered as 1015/1016. Near Gorakhpur there is a Buddhist pilgrim centre Kushinagar and hence the train is named Kushinagar Express. This is a most demanded train with 15 Sleeper coaches, one second AC coach, one third AC coach, one pantry car and five general coaches. This train is always packed to its capacity throughout the year. Even wait listed are difficult to obtain for this train.
The train is scheduled to takes nearly 33 hours to complete the distance of 1680 KM and this train runs always late between Jhansi and Gorakhpur because preference is given to other trains running over this route.
