Kushikino, Kagoshima

Kushikino (串木野市 Kushikino-shi?) was a city located in Kagoshima, Japan. On October 11, 2005, Kushikino merged with Ichiki to form the new city of Ichikikushikino.

As of 2003, the city had an estimated population of 26,355 and the density of 327.55 persons per km². The total area was 80.46 km².

The city was founded on October 1, 1950.
