[edit] Some suggestions

This article looks to be off to a very good start. I would rate it as about Start class at this point.

The most important thing at his time would be to fill in some more information in the various existing sections, and as the infobox at the top of the article notes, find some citations that you can link directly to the text (not just the links at the bottom of the page.)

You should be able to get some primary sources easily for such statements as the type of music played, which will help a lot in verifiability. Wikipedia prefers second person sources when possible (and requires them for an article to eventually be rated GA class), so some external sources need to be found. U Iowa is huge and well-known, so the student paper doubtless has many articles over the years on the station. I would find a few and either pull some direct quotes (about a sentence or less), or at least use statements in the articles as backing for statements made here.

Better would be some statements in articles that didn't come from the school at all. Again, local newspapers should have an occasional reference to the station, and it has probably been mentioned nationally or at the state level a few times, probably in conjunction with football coverage. These will probably be harder to track down, but if you could find 2-3 such articles and use them for citations it would be a Very Good thing.

It feels to me like there is one possible part of this article missing. The station is probably an educational experience, so probably has some faculty advisors, or a relationship to some of the media or journalism classes. Some information on what the students actually learn by operating the station would make very good material for the article.

Finally, there are probably student DJs or newscasters or even transmitter engineers that have gone on to a profession in the broadcast industry, and some of these alumni may be moderately famous. You could add a standard list-section listing "famous KURE personalities" (being careful to provide a verifiable link to an external story about each one). Perhaps better though would be to pick one or two that have been better known over the years and do a full paragraph on them, if the information can be found. I agree. But, to clarify, this is Iowa State University, not University of Iowa. Not that that make anything you said any less true. →Wordbuilder (talk) 15:10, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
