Thanks. --Bohater 19:57, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dispute

I dispute the neutrality of the inclusion of "Kurdistan Uyezd" and "Diyarbakır" as "Kurdistan related". No evidence that the borders of Kurdistan extend all the way to Azerbaijan or to Diyarbakir. -- Cat chi? 11:54, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

The capital of Turkish Kurdistan[1] is not part of Kurdistan? Interesting...--Domitius 11:56, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
You dispute to much.. But that is not our problem. --Bohater 11:55, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Please don't begin with a large discussion here again..This is a discussion site and a Forum --Bohater 11:58, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
There is no "capital of Turkish Kurdistan". Geographic regions cant have capitals. Bohater, I will dispute anything controversially placed into this portal. This is neither a forum nor a discussion site. -- Cat chi? 13:10, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A-rated

A class might be too high (it might need some procedure like GA, FA), don't we have something like portal class? denizTC 13:03, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Non-articles do not carry article ratings, but rather Image, Template, Category, List or NA - so it doesn't make sense to "rate" it in the first place. Nevertheless, there is something called "Featured Portal", but that's quite a fringe thing in Wikipedia and until that point might as well rate it NA.. But again, I don't run the project so that's just my outside two-cents :) Baristarim 13:06, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Saladin's ethnicity is still controversial. SO why did you add "Kurdish Kings" link including only Saladin while it is not clear with the consensus of historians. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.229.98.98 (talk) 17:58, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Er, it is actually common consensus among most historians that he was a Kurd. The ones who refute this mainly work along Pan-Arab or Turkish Nationalism. There has been endless discussion over this issue, and they've come to a consensus that he was a Kurd. Take this argument to the Saladin page though, that's where it needs to be.. --MercZ (talk) 19:14, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Portal Issue

I'm not good with wiki coding, but it seems that the icons on the portal are stretching the page towards the bottom (the sister wiki icons).--MercZ (talk) 19:20, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
