Kurunthadi

Cheruvadi or Muchan or Kuruvadi is a term in kalarippayattu, a martial art practiced in Kerala, India. It is a wooden stick used as a weapon.
It is practiced as the second part of kolthari stage of kalari payat. It derived its name from its length of 3 chans(which is a measuring unit). Its length is equal to 2 and half feet (76 cm). It is usually made from the wood of the tamarind tree. It is practiced as the basics of dagger fighting.
