Kurt Thomas Abbott (born June 2, 1969 in Zanesville, Ohio), is a former Major League Baseball player who played primarily as an infielder from 1993-2001.

In his Major League career, Abbott played for the Oakland Athletics (1993, 1998), Florida Marlins (1994-1997), Colorado Rockies (1998-1999), New York Mets (2000) and Atlanta Braves 2001. He appeared in the 1997 World Series with a Marlins and the 2000 World Series with the Mets. In 1995, Abbott hit a career high 17 home runs for the Marlins.
