[edit] TPG & Welcome
Hi - as a follow-up to the Moogle Mafia AfD, yes there is a guideline regarding talk pages here: WP:TPG. Also, allow me to formally welcome you to Wikipedia with the following welcome message, which contains links to other useful information for new editors:
Welcome!
Hello, Kupofather, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! --AbsolutDan (talk) 23:36, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Article Deletion
Hi Kupofather,
There are 3 ways that an article can be listed for deletion.
First, if an article meets Speedy Deletion criteria, you can tag it with an appropriate speedy-delete tag (the tags are listed in the WP:CSD guideline). An admin will then review it, and if approved will delete it immediately.
Second, if the article does not meet WP:CSD criteria, but would be an uncontroversial candidate for deletion, you can use the Proposed Deletion process by tagging the article with {{subst:prod|REASON GOES HERE}}.
Third, if an article deletion might be contested, or if you are at all in doubt, use the full Articles for Deletion process. To do this, follow the steps at this guideline: Template:AfD in 3 steps.
Before listing any article for deletion, it's always best to be completely familiar with Wikipedia's deletion guidelines, so that when filling out your explanation, it can be based on guideline and policy. For your convenience, here are some the appropriate guidelines (there are more, but these are the ones I find myself referencing most):
Also, there's a good overview guide here: WP:GD.
Having said all of that, it looks like the talk page you mentioned has already been deleted. See [1]. I hope this info comes in handy though the next time you run across an article that needs to be deleted. Cheers! --AbsolutDan (talk) 15:59, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
