Moogle Mafia (mOO-gul ma-fi-ah), noun; 1:A crime syndicate run by furry game characters. 2:A large, powerful group of online gamers.

The Moogle Mafia is a large community of online gamers. The name of the group, as well as many of the names associated with the clan, are references to small furry creatures called Moogles from the popular Final Fantasy series. The clan was originally created by a person known as the Kupofather during the summer of 2003. The games they are known to frequent are primarily text-based MMOG (Massively Multiplayer Online Games), rather than fun Online Role Playing Games such as World of Warcraft.

The Moogle Mafia is actually quite notorious for using loopholes in game rules in order to achieve goals, which has led members of the clan to get many a banning, most notably the banning of the Kupofather himself from ZeldereX, under the premise that he had multiple accounts. This led to a steaming debate, which the admins of the game desperately attempted to keep under wraps. Fact soon turned to fiction, and the story of the Kupofather's banning turned into a legend. His final comment? "There are 3872 people who play zelderex, besides you, they're all me." (Zelderex, June 06) This has led to many jokes about him having multiple accounts.

As the Moogle Mafia is regularly one of the largest clans in any game they have a presence in, the group is always a force to be reckoned with. In terms of size, the clan is either at the top or near it on pretty much every game that the Kupofather himself plays in.

When it comes to war, The Moogle Mafia has never been conventional. Always looking for a fun new way to take down their enemies, they have resorted to many a sly and intelligent tactic to passively fight any clan wars they may be in. Project Exorcism, one of the more famous operations, was first led against the Gate Keepers of Hell, and involved members of the Mafia sending message after message of spam to them, which shut down their communications network and frustrated them. Shortly afterwards, the Gatekeepers disbanded. (EXORCISED!)

The Moogle Mafia is still being led by the Kupofather in most games, barring ZeldereX (for now), which is led by Bammin, one of the Kupofather's most trusted and capable Kuposons (Trusted Moogles who have proven themselves to the clan). They have also been known to branch into other groups when clan size limits are reached, a few of the more well known of these are the Blood Moogles, the Kupo Klan, the Moonlit Moogles, the Moogle 2022nd and KupoReborn.
