Kuol Manyang Juuk

Kuol Manyang is a southern Sudanese politician. He is a member of the SPLM. He is no longer the Minister of Roads and Transport in the government of National Unity in Khartoum. Commander Kuol Manyang Juuk as of December 15th, has been appointed as the new governor of Jonglei State after the violent incidence that took place between the Murle militants and the Bor Communities. This incidence has left dozens dead and resulted in the looting of over a thousand cattle from Dinka Bor.

Commander Kuol is from Dinka Bor of Southern Sudan. He is one of the tallest members in The SPLA commanders. He is known for his bravery throughout the years of civil strife in Southern Sudan. He is also very loyal to the governing system and often does his best to comply with orders from his superiors to set a better example for those under his leadership.

Commander Kuol Manyang was one of the High-ranking SPLA commanders. He served as the zonal commander in Bor from 1985 to 1988. Before he joined the SPLA He was a lecturer in Juba. He was educated in Europe. The line of succession was already detemined by each individual's seniority in the POLITICO- MILITARY HIGH COMMAND. Below is the list according to their seniority
