[edit] Texas A&M Wind Symphony

Howdy, Kungaloosh. I noticed you've been working on the Texas A&M Wind Symphony article. Please note that the GNU Free Documentation License (that you are currently licensing your images with) allows you to retain the copyright and authorship of those pictures, but you grant permission for all others (not just Wikipedia) to use, copy, and share them freely -- and even potentially use them commercially -- so long as they do not try to claim the copyright themselves, nor prevent others from using or copying them freely. I hope that made sense. If they can't be licensed that way, then they may be deleted. Also, please read WP:N - it's a guideline for whether topics warrant their inclusion on Wikipedia. Make sure you cite secondary sources in the article, as that's the best shot in claiming that the wind symphony is notable. So far you've done a great job on the article. Let me know if you have any questions on my talk (discussion) page. BlueAg09 (Talk) 01:50, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the article Dr. David F. Wilborn, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition was deleted under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:18, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Images of Texas A&M Wind Symphony

I have deleted the images that you uploaded from this article as you have improperly listed the license as you owning the image. However, the images appeared to be owned by Texas A&M. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:40, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
