[edit] Noodle/Spätzle
I have undone your reversion of my edit. You restored the phrasing "a noodle from Southern Germany, much favoured in the Schwabia region of Baden-Wuerttemberg and Bavaria", which is both factually inaccurate/misleading and in violation of NOR.
- Spätzle are not "from Southern Germany". Their origin is not known and is a matter of debate - especially between Germans and Austrians. Also, from a technical point of view, they have existed since at least 1725 and were, therefore, in existence before Germany itself existed.
- Unless you can provide a source, the phrasing “much favoured in the Schwabia region” is a violation of WP:NOR, “favoured” is a peacock word and the phrase, in general, is just bad writing (favoured by whom? how much are they favoured? etc.)
Further, "no need for revision" is not reasonable grounds for a revert. Ɛƚƈơƅƅơƚɑ talk 21:39, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
