Kung-Hao Liang

Kung-Hao Liang (Chinese: 梁恭豪) is a bioinformatician. He received the Ph.D. degree in electric and electronic engineering from the University of Warwick. He has worked in Academia Sinica and Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan, Cell Works Inc. in the United States, as well as the Institute of Neuroscience, University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. He was also an adjunct assistant professor in the Life Science Department of the National Taiwan Normal University. Dr. Liang is currently leading the bioinformatics team in Vita Genomics, Inc. His interests include single nucleotide polymorphism and haplotyping, epistasis, de novo peptide sequencing using tandem mass spectrometry, protein-protein interaction networks, cell simulation, genetic markers identification, neuroinformatics, systems biology, as well as computational cell biology using the Markov Random Field.
