Kunal Basu

Kunal Basu is a novelist of Indian origin. He was born in Calcutta and has travelled widely. He has written three acclaimed novels: The Miniaturist, The Opium Clerk and Racists.

He teaches at Oxford University. He is married and has a daughter. [1]

Kunal Basu s last book The Japanese Wife, is a collection of short stories which has been turned into a film by Aparna Sen.
