As of 2001 India census[2], Kumbhraj had a population of 13,999. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Kumbhraj has an average literacy rate of 57%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 67%, and female literacy is 45%. In Kumbhraj, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.It's has majour population belongs Jain & Maheshwari Community. It is the largest mandi of corrinder in ASIA.
