Kumba Resources is a large mining company in South Africa. It is the fourth largest iron ore producer in the world. [1] The company operates facilities in Africa, Asia and Australia.

Kumba's work is primarily in five areas:

• Iron ore, currently comprising half of Kumba's business[2]
• Coal
• Base metals, primarily zinc; lead
• Heavy minerals, primarily titanium
• Industrial minerals - ferrosilicon manufacture.
