[edit] Design
The design of the Kumari class has a forward "head" section, which is supported by a horizontal neck running aft to two vertical warp nacelles on top of the secondary hull. The impulse engines, weapons systems and two large rectangular sections are on two inverted gull wing sections attached to the secondary hull; the purpose of these glowing rectangular sections are not known.
The wireframe for the CGI model of this starship is based on the "Babylon 5" CGI model for the "Drazi Sunhawk"
[edit] Known Kumari class starships
- Kumari
- The Kumari is named for the first ice cutter to circumnavigate Andor.[1] The starship Kumari was the pathfinder of her class. Commanded by Commander Shran from 2142 to 2154, the Kumari served with the Enterprise (NX-01) in the Delphic Expanse and defended Earth from a Xindi attack on February 12, 2154.[2] The Kumari was later destroyed by a Romulan drone-ship disguised as a Tellarite warship on November 12, 2154; out of 86 crew members, only 19 survived.
