Lord Murugan's temple is situated on the top of a small hill at Kumaran Kundram near by Madras Institute of Technology, not far from Chennai in India. One can have a panoromic view of Chromepet from the top of the hill at which the present Hindu shrine was built in the 1970s. Its situated in Chitlapakkam a town located 1 km away from Chromepet. Its a well known land mark in this area and usually gets very crowded on Fridays because of the special puja's conducted.
