Kumaradevam

Kumara-devam is a small village on the banks of the Godavari River in West Godavari district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, approximately 5Km south of Kovvuru and about 18 kilometres from Rajahmundry.[1] It is a holy village with great temples and said to have a significant religious past. The Name "Kumaradevam" means The Place of Kumaraswamy(The Younger son of Lord Shiva and Parvathi). Most of the people in Kumaradevam depend on the agriculture sector.
