We need contributions. I can only think of Mamta :).

The famous marathi saint 'Sant' Dnyaneshwar the author of Dnyaneshwari was a Kulkarni. Sant Eknath was also Kulkarni.

[edit] pronounciation of Kulkarni

I believe there are two ways of pronounciation of this in marathi (one with "L" pronounced as in Lata and another one with "L" pronounced as in "shala"). Is this just a matter of pronounciation or is there any further difference in these two Kulkarnis?Tkul 02:38, 19 November 2006 (UTC)tkul
