Talk:Kujō Yoritsugu

[edit] Challenged sentence
Beyond the introductory paragraph, this one sentence was the sum and substance of the article. The sentence is not backed up by a citation; and it takes a different view of this transition than the source which is now cited.
-
- "Yoritsugu was installed as the shogun by Hōjō Tokiyori at the age of six because his father became too strong to be a puppet of the Hōjō clan."
In the context of the complex relationships of the Hōjō family and the Kamakura shoguns, this bare statement is cannot stand alone without more. The original sentence was added in December 2003 by and unknown editor User:130.54.12.242. Ooperhoofd 20:12, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Removed "needs references" banner
This page does cite a competant and verifiable source, and therefore the tag is no longer relevant.
This article does not cite any references or sources. (May 2007) Please help improve this article by adding citations to reliable sources. Unverifiable material may be challenged and removed. |
I note with curiosity that the editor who tagged this page has not himself offered any additional text or source material. This means that User:Kuuzo will have devoted less time to this specific page than it took for me to type out this explanation for what I've now done. Ooperhoofd 20:37, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
