Kudkady is a place in Puttur Taluk, Karnataka, India. It is a part of Padumale where the legendary twin tulu, Koti and Chennayya, were born and brought up. Kudkady is home to beautiful scenery, since it has betel nut plants, paddy fields, forest, etc. Here, most men know the traditional folk art, Yakshagana, and many have received state level awards. Also, many famous people come from here, such as Balakrishna rai (politician), Vishwanatha rai (novelist), Raghavendra rai (IT), Rakesh rai (cricket player), Praddep kumar rai (police officer), and Prashanth rai (weight lifter).
