I have explained the reasons for my PROD of Afonsos.vandals on his talk page, by giving pointers to the relevant guidelines in the Spanish Wikipedia; but wouldn't he be happier there? He can't really expect to make much useful contribution here if he doesn't speak the language. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 13:04, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, he would be happier on Spanish Wikipedia. And what about it? Kubek15 (Sign!) (Contribs) (UBX) 13:10, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
User:Go for it
I believe you meant well here. However, please note that it is most certainly not vandalism to blank one's own userpage. Please be a little more cautious in reverting and labelling edits as vandalism. Dorftrottel (taunt) 19:01, March 3, 2008
- Sorry, I haven't noticed that this userpage was blanked by Go for it user... Kubek15 (Sign!) (Contribs) (UBX) 14:02, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Bah
You want them back, I'll put them in your userspace, you can translate them there, and when they're ready you can move them back into articlespace.
Sound good? DS (talk) 15:40, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- OK, please put it into User:Kubek15/to-translate. Kubek15 (Sign!) (Contribs) (UBX) 18:03, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

- Just wanted to let you know that these articles are the subject of a conversation at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2008 March 5#Traganje za rentom. You may want to list them at WP:PNT even if they are in user space to see if any of the volunteers there may be able to help. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:43, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion for Afonsos vandals- please translate for your adoptee
A tag has been placed on Afonsos vandals, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. AlmightyClam 16:14, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- I replaced the speedy deletion template with a deletion one so you'd have time to translate for Alexei06. Sorry for the inconvinience of this. AlmightyClam 16:24, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

I disagreed with your use of the speady tag, as there was notability claimed; just not sufficient, which is why I prodded it. If someone takes off the prod I'll immediately take to AFD. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 16:59, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Removal of tags
Please do not remove deletion tags from articles as you did to Image:MuskogeePolice.jpg without providing an explanation either in the edit summary or on the Talk page. Thanks. andy (talk) 18:02, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
- Please do not remove deletion tags without giving a good reason as you did to Image:MuskogeePolice.jpg. "Gave good copyright msg" isn't a sensible explanation for de-tagging a clear breach of copyright and fair use rules. State your reasons clearly or leave it alone. Thank you. andy (talk) 23:51, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
TfD nomination of Template:The_Guestbook_Barnstar
Template:The_Guestbook_Barnstar has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. — Enric Naval (talk) 12:41, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry for deleting your banstar, but I had to do it because I think it really hurted wikipedia goals in certain ways. I assure you that it's nothing personal. --Enric Naval (talk) 13:16, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

- I also put the userfied copy under speedy deletion, since it was deleted for going against wikipedia goals --Enric Naval (talk) 03:49, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for translating this page. BlueValour (talk) 22:12, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, it's restored as suggested Jimfbleak (talk) 14:22, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
copyvio
I put the db-copyvio template on your to translate page. Copyright does not allow to have this page there. Copyright also does not allow to post a translation at Wikipedia, this would be a derivative work. So don't bother translating, unless you can convince the gropup to put a GNU documentation licence on their webpage. Andreas (T) 18:30, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Writer Barnstar
Great one but perhaps The Writer's Barnstar? --ROGER DAVIES talk 09:26, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- You should split the writer's barnstar into two different barnstars. One for articles about books, and another one for number of edits. Just look at all the other barnstars on Wikipedia:Other_awards. They *all* just reward *one* behaviour. I'm sure that some more experienced editor can tell you why this is this way. I'm sure that there is a good reason and that you should split the barnstar. I don't think that the barnstar loses any value for the split and I think it will actually improve --Enric Naval (talk) 17:20, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
