The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is the premier convention and exhibition centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This purpose-built convention & exhibition centre is a component part of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre precinct, fondly known as KLCC. Designed to be a "city within a city" this 40 hectare (100-acre) site includes the KLCC park and Petronas Twin Towers to lend a prestigious address to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Conceptualised to host global events with international standards including conferences, exhibitions, seminars, meetings and entertainment. The Centre is conveniently placed alongside extensive public transportation and hotels, making the city of Kuala Lumpur easily accessible.
In its quest for continual improvement the Centre achieved HACCP certification in December 2006 and in February 2007 became the first convention centre in the northern hemisphere to achieve 'Benchmarked' status by Green Globe, the global Benchmarking, Certification and improvement system for sustainable travel & tourism.
