Ku'ualoha Taylor

Aloha Taylor, born Ku'ualoha Taylor, is a television weather anchor/reporter at FOX 6, XETV-TV in San Diego, California.

She began her broadcasting career as a weather anchor at KGMB-TV, the CBS affiliate in Honolulu, Hawaii. She later worked as the morning weather reporter at KFMB-TV, the CBS affiliate in San Diego, California.

After leaving KFMB in December 2005, she worked as the morning weekend weathercaster at WCCO-TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota for nine months, before returning to San Diego in September 2006 to take her present position at the FOX affiliate, XETV-TV Channel 6.

She is an AMS certified meteorologist, and holds a degree in Communications from Hawaii Pacific University. Aloha earned the equivalent of a BS in Meteorology through the correspondence program at Mississippi State University. Taylor won the title of Miss Hawaii USA in 1996 and competed in the Miss USA pageant, where she won the Miss Congeniality award. Her successor, Brook Mahealani Lee, went on to win the Miss USA and Miss Universe titles.

Taylor is married to a San Diego surgeon. They have one daughter.
