KTWO is an American radio station licensed to Casper, Wyoming operating on 1030 kHz. KTWO broadcasts a 50,000 watt signal from two towers located east of Casper near Hat Six Road. The station features a Country music format but also hosts several talk shows such as Rush Limbaugh and Coast to Coast AM.[1][2]

[edit] Signal

KTWO can be heard in almost all of Wyoming during the day. During the night, KTWO has been reported much farther distances, such as Southern California[3], and Flagstaff, Arizona[4] domestically. It has also been received internationally in the Netherlands[5] and Japan[6].

KTWO uses a directional antenna pattern that is only operational at night, and pushes most of the station's transmitting power to the west. This is in place to protect clear channel station WBZ in Boston, Massachusetts, which is also on 1030.
