KTUZ-TV 30 is the Telemundo affiliate serving Metropolitan Oklahoma City and Shawnee, Oklahoma, and is owned by Tyler Media.

KTUZ's call letters are taken from Tyler Media's radio station in Oklahoma City KTUZ-FM "La Zeta".

[edit] History

KTUZ went on the air as KQOK "OK30", which aired mainly programming from Jewelry Television from ACN. Channel 30 also aired some religious and children's programming. For a brief period, KQOK also aired Bonanza reruns and the Independent News Network.

In 2004, KQOK was sold to Oklahoma City-based Tyler Media from its original owners, Equity Broadcasting, which now owns KUOK. The station became a Telemundo affiliate in early February 2005. In October of 2006 KTUZ launched T30 Noticias, making it the only locally produced Spanish newscast serving the City DMA.
