KT4 equipped with mid-section. These types of tram cars are use in Tallinn (Estonia), Brandenburg and (Germany)
The Cottbus versions were modified by MGB Mittenwalder Gerätebau from 1992 to 1995 by adding a centre low floor section to a CKD KT4.
The breakdown of the type designation is as follows:
- K for articulated
- T indicates a powered vehicle
- NF for Low Floor
- 6 is the number of axles.
