KSON-FM is a country music radio station in San Diego. It has been broadcasting since 1963.

KSON has an AM station at 1240 kHz that used to broadcast country music in their heyday, and now currently airs Spanish language Catholic programming.

KSON-FM (97.3 only) simulcasts their programming in digital HD Radio.

The station also simulcasts their FM programming at 92.1 FM in Escondido, California.

In 2007, the station was nominated for the top 25 markets Country music Radio & Records magazine station of the year award . Other nominees included WUSN Chicago, KYGO-FM Denver, WYCD Detroit, KEEY-FM Minneapolis, and WXTU Philadelphia.[1]
