Talk:Krzysztof Zanussi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
hi everyone, im currently studying with Krzysztof Zanussi (and other professors) and so i decided to add some content about him (them) - using the style/format/template i have seen at
http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neil_Postman (including his affiliation with the New York University) and http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noam_Chomsky (stating his profession, area, affiliation with MIT and external links ...)
i admit that the article i have been building on is still shorter than Chomskys - but it includes more content than postman :)
anyway - the last editor deleted several information similar to the one given above - AND did it in a way that the articles is now including FALSE/MISLEADING statements.
the editor states "(No advertising please)" - but the information included (affiliation with university/faculty website) was only similar to chomsky/postman and many others.
first: Zanussi IS a professor at the European Graduate School in Switzerland "where he conducts a summer workshop" - the summer workshop DOES NOT TAKE PLACE in Poland. (changed by last editor)
second: is this abuse?
third: is it possible to add/include articles/information like this/ are they considered valuable for wikipedia - or is this considered wrong - then i am wondering why many other pages do it the very same way -
but i would certainly respect this. (and refrain from editing) thank you.
Are you interresting in contributing to wikipedia for something else than adding links to the EGS site ? Are this people permanent staff of your school ? Ericd 14:45, 25 Sep 2003 (UTC)

With a name like Zanussi, is he actually of Polish ancestry? --Dpr 06:34, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
