Krzysztof Łukasz Król (pron. IPA: [ˈkʂɨʂtɔf ˈkrul]; born February 6, 1987 in Rydułtowy, Poland) is a Polish footballer who plays as a defender. In January 2007 he was bought by Real Madrid from Dyskobolia Grodzisk Wielkopolski and joined their third team. He represented Poland at the 2006 UEFA U-19 Championship and the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where he was sent off for earning a second yellow card in the 27th minute of Poland's first game against Brazil by English referee Howard Webb. His surname, pronounced "Krul", means "King" in Polish.
