[edit] History
This station began as KAMA in 1962 with an unknown format, then that same year the station went dark. On New Year's Day in 1993, the station was given a second revival as KRVA with a Spanish music format installed by Spanish Radio pioneer Marcos Rodriguez, Sr.. Four years later, it was changed to KZDF under the same format, then in 1999, the KRVA callsign was re-established and has simulcasted WFAA-TV's evening news in Spanish. In 2003, the station was bought by LKCM (from First Broadcasting) and was changed to KRVF and became a simulcast station for KFWR.
