KRVE (Lite Rock 96.1 the River) is an Adult Contemporary outlet serving the Baton Rouge area. The Clear Channel Communications station broadcasts at 96.1 MHz with an ERP of 50kW and is licensed to Brusly, Louisiana. Its current slogan is "Lite Rock, Less Talk."

The station was originally at 96.3 and changed its frequency and format in 1991. The call letters were previously owned by a Portuguese language FM radio station (now country music station KRTY) in San Jose, California. The station went on the air as KIEZ on 1989-08-18. On 1991-07-15, the station changed it's call sign to the current KRVE.[1]
