Krunoslav Hulak

Krunoslav Hulak (born 25 May 1951, Osijek) a Croatian chess master.

He won Yugoslav Chess Championship in 1976 and Croatian Chess Championship in 2005.[1]

In other tournaments, he won (jointly) at Varna 1974, shared 2nd at Lublin 1976, took 2nd at Amsterdam 1977 (IBM tournament), shared 1st at Osijek 1980 and Sombor 1980, tied for 2nd-3rd at Budva 1981, tied for 1st-3rd at Banja Luka 1983, took 2nd at Zagreb 1985, won at Wijk aan Zee 1986 and Banja Luka 1987, took 2nd at Solin 2000. He played twice in interzonal tournaments, finishing 11th at Toluca 1982 and 12th at Zagreb 1987.[2]

Hulak played thrice for Yugoslavia (1982, 1986, 1990) and thrice for Croatia (1992, 1994, 1996) in Chess Olympiads.[3]

He was awarded the International Master title in 1974, and the Grandmaster title in 1976.[4]
