KROD (600 AM) is a talk radio station in El Paso, Texas. The station's license is held by Regent Communications.

The station is an affiliate of the Dallas Cowboys radio network.[1]

Station began on 1500 kilohertz in 1941. The transmitter was near the nowadays Chamizal land. The station changed to 600 kilohertz in 1948. The 600 kHz transmitter was on Dyer Street in Northeast El Paso at the later Sunrise Shopping Center. The transmitter moved to 10420 Dyer in the late 1960s.

The calls stood for Dorrance D. Roderick owner of the El Paso Times newspaper.
