[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:HTQ-logo-200.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:HTQ-logo-200.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. -- STBotI (talk) 21:14, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Avoiding an Advertising tag
Hi, Kristahtq. I give your article an advertising tag because it read more like a press release or an ad than an encyclopedia article. It didn't strike me as blatant advertising, so I only tagged it as such, and didn't put on a Spam tag (asking for speedy deletion). Finding the balance between describing a company and their products, significance, etc., and sounding like an advertisement isn't always easy. About the only advice I could give is to avoid superlatives and just stick with facts. If the company's won awards, certainly mention them (it helps establish notability) but don't dwell on them. If I could sum it up in a word, I'd say "Neutral."
Hope that helps!

- Hi again. I was being more or less generic in my advice on superlatives and awards and such. I'd have to go back and re-read your original article to refresh my memory on exactly what prompted me to set the Advert tag. Give me a bit of time and I'll go back and take another look. Cheers! - Kristahtq, I took another look at the article, and to my mind the second and third sections are the ones that made me think "advertisement" when I read it. Particularly the second sentence on in the "Assisting consumers" section. I can almost hear an announcer reading it - "Whether you're looking for X, Y, or Z, we can put you in touch with someone who can sell it to you!" Misquoted for example purposes, of course. I'm not sure exactly how to soften those two sections, but to my mind they are the ones that make me think Ad. Not beyond fixing though! Cheers, Bagheera (talk) 23:41, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of HometownQuotes
An editor has nominated HometownQuotes, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/HometownQuotes and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:59, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Hometown Quotes
Hi Krista, you're going to have to pay very close attention to WP:COI, but also WP:ORG, which states in part, Organizations whose activities are local in scope are usually not notable unless verifiable information from reliable independent sources can be found. I don't find any evidence that your insurance agency is any different or more notable than any other insurance company -- all of whom can get local press. It may be that they're not encyclopedic. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Travellingcari (talk) 16:34, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
