HometownQuotes is an online insurance lead company founded in 2003 by former insurance agents, Bob Klee and Hunter Ingram. The company is located in Franklin, Tennessee, outside of Nashville.

HometownQuotes was started by two insurance agents who wanted to provide insurance solutions for consumers and business opportunities for insurance agents. The company started in a bonus room above co-founder and Chief Financial Officer Bob Klee's garage and operated there for one year before expanding to an office suite in the same building in which the company is currently housed.
In 2006, HometownQuotes opened an office in Europe and tripled its staff size.
In 2007, the company expanded into its fifth office space and was awarded and recognized for impressive growth by the Nashville Business Journal, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and BusinessTN magazine.
