Kristin's last name is Cavallari not Cavalleri. Here's a link to a scan of her yearbook photo which has the spelling as "Cavallari" - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v672/krissybear14/Laguna%20Beach/5336627_l.jpg. Also, a Laguna Beach newspaper listed the LBHS 2005 graduates and lists her name as "Kristin Elizabeth Cavallari" see here -> http://www.coastlinepilot.com/education/v-headlines_include/story/17343p-24267c.html

Since we only care about her as a TV personality, its what name she is credited under. Most times when a celeb goes by a different name for tv/film credits, we go by the credited name. I don't see any evidence she was ever credited with "Cavallari". --Rob 06:43, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
I have edited the body of the article to show her original/proper spelling, and mention what she's credited as. That should be sufficient. If you look around other bios, this is fairly standard (we show their full/exact name, but the title of the article is what they're credited/known as). --Rob 06:46, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
But she is credited as Cavallari. IMDB has made mistakes before, and MTV never shows the cast members last names on the show or on their LB page. She is credited as Kristin Cavallari everywhere: by TeenPeople (http://www.teenpeople.com/teenpeople/article/0,22196,1152546,00.shtml), PETA (http://www.peta2.com/OUTTHERE/o-kristinfurpsa.asp), The New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/08/30/arts/television/30lagu.html?ei=5090&en=c1b92f17bb68eb5e&ex=1283054400&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss&pagewanted=all), in MTV news articles (http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1522703/20060127/elliott_missy.jhtml?headlines=true), and numerous magazines (http://img371.imageshack.us/img371/7654/scan00012gd.jpg, http://tinypic.com/mboj0h.jpg). I think that the Kristin Cavalleri page should redirect to Kristin Cavallari, and not the other way around, because I think it's clear that Cavalleri is just a misspelling that caught on, and not what she prefers to be credited as.

MTV spells her name as "Kristin Cavalleri" and a number of places (not just the one linked to). But, if you wish to change it, that's ok with me. But do it properly, and make sure every reference is up-to-date. If the change is done correctly (every single article), I won't undo it. --Rob 07:36, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
