[edit] Biography
Krisztián initially joined Argyle on loan from Ferencvárosi TC until the end of the 2006/07 season, with a view to a £100,000 permanent move at the end of the season, which was completed on May 16, 2007 along with countryman Péter Halmosi [1] .
He made a great start to his loan period with a debut goal in the 2-2 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux and at 6 foot 3 inches he is certainly the beast that former manager Ian Holloway was looking for [2].
He scored his second league goal for the club, a magnificent overhead scissor kick in the recent 3-0 victory versus Scunthorpe United. The goal was of particular joy with the home fans as "Kris" became a fan favourite, and their surprise at him pulling of such a move was clear. It was his second goal for the club, his first coming in the 2006-07 season in the 2-2 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium Because of his large build he has been given the nickname 'Beast' by the Plymouth fans
on 26th April 2008 Krisztian Timar was voted by Plymouth Argyle Fans as the clubs Player of the Year.
[edit] International Career
Krisztián has recently been called up for the Hungarian national football team for their match on the 26th March Vs Slovenia national football team. Krisztián made his long awaited international debut by starting this game.[3]
