Kristin (TV series)

Kristin was a 2001 sitcom, on the NBC TV Channel in the USA, that ran for six episodes as a mid-season replacement. The series was cancelled because of low ratings and was never picked up for a second run.

Kristin starred Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth in the title role and co-starred Ana Ortiz. Ortiz would go on to star in Ugly Betty on ABC, a series in which Chenoweth would briefly guest star.

The show was about Kristin Yancy, a perky Oklahoman woman, who takes a job as a secretary while she looks for work in show business. What she doesn't know is her boss, played by Jon Tenney, hired her so he wouldn't be tempted to sleep with her.
