Kristie Lu Stout

Kristie Lu Stout (born December 7, 1974[citation needed]) is an American journalist and news anchor for CNN International.
As of 2007, she is the host of CNN's monthly program Global Office, and co-hosts the daily CNN Today with Hugh Riminton, which earned her a 2006 Asian Television Award as Best News Presenter or Anchor.[1] Stout previously hosted CNN's technology program Spark and their daily "Tech Watch" segment, wrote the "Beijing Byte" column for the South China Morning Post, was an editorial staffer at Wired.com[2] and a founding member of Sohu.
She is a graduate of Lynbrook High School in San Jose, CA, where she was a founding member of the Lynbrook Speech and Debate Club (LSD). She received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in media studies from Stanford University. She also studied advanced Mandarin Chinese at Tsinghua University in Beijing.[2]
