Kristiani Herrawati is the wife of current Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

She is appointed as "Duta ASI Indonesia", a campaign to push the rate of mothers breastfeeding their babies.

She received a rare honor when a rare papuon butterfly species was named after her. She was also presented with a specimen of the butterfly Delias kristianiae which she decided to donate to the museum.[citation needed]
