Kris Holmes

Kris Holmes (b. 1950, Reedley, California) is a type designer. She is with Charles Bigelow the co-creator of Lucida font family.
She received her B.A. from Harvard University, and did graduate work at UCLA. She has taught type design at Portland State University, the The Museum Art School (Portland), Rhode Island School of Design, Santa Monica College, and the Otis College of Art and Design. She is President of Bigelow & Holmes Inc., a typeface design studio.
