- Haha, I was just thinking that as well. I was surprised to see Hamilton-Burr duel's talk get the failed fac message when I didn't remember seeing the fac message, even though the page is on my watchlist. savidan(talk) (e@) 21:39, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Washington
Well, thank you for your thank you. It was my pleasure, the subject fascinated me, and in good Wikipedian fashion, I wrote my little WikiHeart out. How did you know it was me who wrote it? Páll (Die pienk olifant) 05:41, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hamilton-Burr duel
I'm flattered that you nominated this to be featured so early. However, it is still very much a work in progress, so I wasn't surprised to see it fail. I plan on finished Flemming's book before continuing to work on the article. If you'd like to help with it, there are a lot of online sources provided by the Weehawken Historical Commission that I linked in the references section but haven't had time to go through and cite yet. savidan(talk) (e@) 21:33, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of similarities between Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy
Just a note to let you know the article has been completely rewritten in the time since you nominted it on AfD. dryguy 15:50, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lincoln Kennedy Rewrite
I thank you very much for that rewrite. It truly created an article worthy of Wikipedia. I would just ask that you had waited for the AfD discussion to close, so as to not confuse the admin who has to determine whether or not to delete it. Thank you again though, I believe the article does not need to be deleted anymore. --kralahome 19:04, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your kind words. I believe that if you change your nom to a vote to keep, it will carry great weight with the admin who makes the final decision. dryguy 19:22, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

==Please Use Edit Summaries==
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. kralahome 21:24, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
==Do Not Remove AfD Notices== Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. kralahome 21:25, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

==Chicago== A tag has been placed on Chicago, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Chicago is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Chicago. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. kralahome 21:26, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
==Do Not Remove Warnings== Please do not remove legitimate warnings from your talk page or replace them with inappropriate content. Removing or maliciously altering warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted legitimate comments. If you continue to remove or vandalize legitimate warnings from your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. kralahome 21:26, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Disambiguation Talk Request
This is a form message being sent to all WikiProject Disambiguation participants. I may have found your page based on your contributions or your link repair user box on your user page. If you are not a member, please consider including your name on the project page. I recently left a proposed banner idea on the WikiProject Disambiguation talk page and I would appreciate any input you could provide. Before it can be approved or denied, I would prefer a lot of feedback from multiple participants in the project. So if you have the time please join in the discussion to help improve the WikiProject. Keep up the good work in link repair and thanks for your time. Nehrams2020 23:02, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 02:45, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Characters of Les Misérables
Hi, I placed the whole Category:Characters of Les Misérables into Category:Musical theatre characters, which gives a more structured result than adding pages individually to the latter category. Please look out for similar opportunities to enhance the hierarchy of categories. Best wishes, Fayenatic (talk) 14:00, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] category:musical theater characters
Hi Kralahome -- I noticed that you placed the category:Musical theatre characters on Emma Goldman and Booker T. Washington. I reverted that for two reasons. The "characters" categories are for fictional characters, not real people who have been portrayed in fictional works. More importantly, categories are not applied for every aspect of an article; only for aspects that are defining. For instance, Emma Goldman is defined as an anarchist -- if you think of Emma Goldman, "anarchist" is one of the first things that comes to mind, and conversely, if you think of "anarchists", certainly Emma Goldman is one of the more notable anarchists. Obviously quite a different picture for "musical theater characters'! More info at CAT and overcategorization and CATFAQ, and if you have questions or want to talk about it, please drop me a line. Cheers, Lquilter (talk) 02:06, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
