Krasnogorsk (Russian: Красного́рск) is a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia, adjacent to the north-western boundary of Moscow, on the Moskva River. Population: 92,545 (2002 Census). An urban-type settlement was established here in 1932, town status granted in 1940.
It is known for the Moscow Country Club Resort at Nakhabino, and the Krasnogorskiy Zavod company, which produced the Zorki, Zenit and Krasnogorsk cameras there until the early 1990s.
