Krasnoarmeysky District, Chuvash Republic

Krasnoarmeysky District (Russian: Красноарме́йский райо́н; Chuvash: Красноармейски (Трак) районĕ) is a district (raion) of the Chuvash Republic, Russia. The district's administrative center, the village (selo) of Krasnoarmeyskoye, is located 58 kilometers (36 mi) from Chuvashia's capital city of Cheboksary. District's population: 17,940 (2002 Census); 19,693 (1989 Census).

The district was formed on January 9, 1935. It is situated in the northern part of Chuvashia, bordering Cheboksarsky District in the north, Tsivilsky District in the north-east, Kanashsky and Vurnarsky Districts in the south, and Alikovsky and Morgaushsky Districts in the west.

The Head of the District's administration is Stanislav Andreyevich Nikolayev.
