Kramatorsk (Ukrainian: Краматорськ, Kramators'k) is a city in the eastern Ukraine within Donetsk Oblast. Its population about 200,000 people (arguably -including surrounding settlements under Kramatorsk City Council governing).
It is an important machinery building center of the region and Ukraine in general.

Kramatorsk currently has a population of over 173,700 inhabitants (2008) and has a metropolitan area of over 203,100 inhabitants (2004).
The Russian language is dominant in Kramatorsk, 63.4% of citizens speak russian, 36.0 % speak ukrainian.
According to 2001 population census the actual nationality structure of Kramatorsk is as follows:
- Ukrainians: 70.2 %
- Russians: 26.9 %
- Belarusians: 0.7 %
- Armenians: 0.6 %
- Azerbaijanis: 0.2 %
