Kraichtal is a town in the north-eastern part of the Karlsruhe district in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
[edit] Geographical Description
Kraichtal is a German town embedded in western Kraichgau, a hilly landscape between the Black Forest, Odenwald forest and the Neckar river. Through Kraichtal flows the river Kraichbach, which then eventually flows into the River Rhine.

Kraichtal is formed by nine districts which consist of Unteroewisheim, Oberoewisheim, Munzesheim, Gochsheim (Baden), Oberacker, Neuenbuerg (Baden), Menzingen (Baden), Landshausen and Bahnbruecken.
Gochsheim Castle lies in the north east of Kraichtal.
