The Krachi East District is a district of Ghana in the Volta Region. It is one of the newest districts of Ghana, being a recent split from the Krachi District. It is surrounded by the Nkwanta District to the north, the Kadjebi District to the east, the new Krachi District and the Volta Lake to the west and the Jasikan District to the south.
Its capital is at Dambai. Some of the major towns in the district include Paikatanga, Asukawkaw, Dormabin, Kparekpare and Addo Nkwanta.
